青陽非金屬礦研究院理事長受邀擔任《Clay Minerals》刊物首席主編

近日, 青陽非金屬礦研究院理事長周春暉(浙江工業大學化學工程學院)收到來自英國和愛爾蘭礦物學會(Mineralogical Society of Great Britain & Ireland)主席Prof. Jon Lloyd教授的邀請函,將受邀請擔任《Clay Minerals》刊物首席主編(Principal Editor)。
 
據悉,Clay Minerals1947年創刊, 早期刊名為《
Clay Minerals Bulletin》, 1965年起改名為《Clay Minerals》,至2022年已經有75年歷史。
 Clay Minerals現由劍橋大學出版社出版; Clay Minerals是該國際學會的重要期刊,是行業內歷史最悠久的刊物,刊發過大量重要的有關土礦物科學和技術的新發現、新理論、新技術和新材料等??锖w的領域和范圍:相關土礦物的地質和礦物、地球和星際、健康和環境、表面和界面、固體化學、化學工程、功能材料、技術和應用。該刊是業內經典, 不提倡追求所謂的“熱點”領域,而是倡導和特別注重土礦物相關科學和技術的原始性、深入性的科學實驗新方法、數據結果和理論認識的研究,重視土礦物基礎科學對人類認知自然和開發功能材料的重要意義和推進作用。

據介紹,青陽非金屬礦研究院理事長周春暉于2018年起擔任該刊副主編, 因其課題組在土礦物、石灰石、白云石等非金屬礦物化學、清潔加工和功能材料等研究開發工作、其嫻熟流利的英語水平和嚴謹的工作風格,受到刊物認可和關注。 
周春暉也是“國際
土學會”(AIPEA)常務理事會成員(Councilor),并現任Clays and Clay Minerals (美國)(Springer出版,國際期刊 《土和土礦物》)  副主編 (2016-)、Applied Clay Science (Elsevier期刊,應用土科學)編委、Journal of Porous Materials(Springer期刊,多孔材料學報)編委、Materials Research Innovations (Taylor & Francis期刊)編委 、《非金屬礦開發與應用》編委會委員等。

土礦物(clay minerals),是組成土巖和土壤的主要礦物,是一些含鋁、鎂等為主的含水硅酸鹽礦物。除海泡石、坡縷石具鏈層狀結構外,其余均具層狀結構。顆粒極細,一般小于0.002毫米。加水后多數具有不同程度的可塑性。與石灰石等眾多巖石形成密切相關,是表面化學、納米化學、地球化學、星際化學等研究中很受關注和經常使用的重要的礦物和無機固體,在催化技術、石油開采、涂料、環保、能源、農業、藥品、復合材料等眾多領域有著廣泛的應用。也有科學研究認為,土礦物是最初的生命物質。2012年12月4日已在火星奔波近9年的“機遇”號火星車仍不時有新發現——美國航天局科學家2012年12月4日宣布,“機遇”號發現了火星存在黏土礦物的跡象,并蘊藏著有關火星氣候等重要線索。

This review demonstrates that high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) imaging of clay minerals or phyllosilicates with an incident electron beam along the major zone axes parallel to the constituting layers, in which the contrast corresponds to individual cation columns in the images obtained, is indispensable for elucidating the enigmatic structures of these minerals
